Your details, and what I do with them

Last updated 19 October 2026.

Who I am

This website is run by Cookie Digital Ltd (company number 17522677), registered office 20 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU. Billy looks after any personal details you send. You can reach me at billy@cookiedigital.co.uk or on 0208 149 0073. For UK data protection law, Cookie Digital Ltd is the controller of your personal data.

What I collect

Only what you choose to send through the enquiry form: your name, your business name, your email address, your phone number and your message. If you email or ring me directly, I get the details you send that way.

This site uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking. Like any website, the hosting provider keeps short technical logs (such as IP addresses) to keep the site running and secure.

Why I use it

To reply to your enquiry, and if you ask me to, to build you a website and talk to you about it. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract with you, and my legitimate interest in answering people who get in touch. I don't sell your details or pass them to anyone for marketing.

Where it's kept

The enquiry form opens your own email app with your message ready to send, so your enquiry arrives as an email in my inbox. My email is provided by Google. This website is hosted by Vercel. Both are US companies, so your details may be processed outside the UK.

How long I keep it

Until your enquiry has been dealt with. If you become a customer, I keep what's needed for that relationship, including invoices for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask me for a copy of the personal data I hold about you, and ask me to correct it, delete it, limit how I use it, or stop using it. You can also ask for it in a form you can pass to someone else. To do any of this, or just to have your details deleted, email billy@cookiedigital.co.uk.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how I've handled your details, please tell me first so I can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
